KERRI
OWNER OF EQUINOX
The owner of Equinox Gentleman's Refinery has over 36 years in the hair industry Kerri is an extremely versatile hair stylist when it comes to cutting & styling, Kerri has an eye for design, creative flair and has won numerous awards in her career. Kerri started her career at vidal sassoon in london as a unisex stylist. Working with one of the best named salons in the industry.
Beyond hair, her passion is surfing, bodyboarding, kickboxing, and long walks on the beach with her dog Gentleman Jack who has been a resident at the salon since he was 8 weeks old. She loves r&b and house music.
CLAIRE
SENIOR STYLIST
Claire has been a proud member of the Equinox family for 14 years, and her journey has been nothing short of inspiring. With a deep passion for transforming hair, she has grown from our apprentice to an award-winning stylist, known for her precision, creativity, and keen attention to detail.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys surfing, cooking, taking her beautiful dog, Gentleman Jack, for long beach walks in Cornwall, listening to rock and country music, and visiting her hometown in Canada.
AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Equinox staff regularly enter national and international competitions, bringing back trophies and accolades and are constantly seeking perfection carrying out regular photo shoots.
So, customers can relax back into the comfortable barber’s chairs knowing they are in the safe and experienced hands of experts that possess the combined knowledge of head shape, hair texture and hair structure to give them the look they want.
MIA
SENIOR STYLIST
Mia has been a valued member of the Equinox family for 10 years, having completed her apprenticeship with us. Her journey reflects her passion, skill, and dedication to her craft and has actively participated in competitions, showcasing her skills and creativity.
Clients are drawn to Mia's creative flair and attention to detail, while her bright personality and sense of humor keep them coming back. A lover of fashion and cheesy music, Mia also enjoys the occasional karaoke session. She also loves spending time with her two beloved dogs, Frank and Mo.
TED
STYLIST
Ted has been with the Equinox family since 2021, having joined us as an apprentice straight out of school at 16. He is steadily working his way up to becoming a skilled stylist, he has a passion for the hair industry.
While still honing his craft, Ted's dedication shines through. Outside of work, he enjoys partying, hitting the gym, and is a big fan of house music.
